Submission Guidelines

Submissions will be open: January 1 through January 31, 2026 at 11:59pm
All Minnesota artists working in any 2D/3D media or video are invited to submit

Size limits for submitted artwork:
2D: 18 x 24” maximum size (specify additional frame size on image list)
3D: 12w x 12d x 18h” maximum size
Video: Artist will provide complete video display with self contained media player on continuous loop such as iPad to hang on wall or other video play device to fit within 3D size requirements of 12w x 12d x 18h” for pedestal. Display limitations may limit video selection for exhibition.

Number of artworks per submission:
Each artist may submit up to three 2D/3D artworks or one video for consideration.

Entry fee:
$20 per artist

Residency:
Submissions open to all current residents of the state of Minnesota.

Sales:
Artwork may be listed for sale, or NFS. Purchase inquiries will be forwarded to the artist to complete. The gallery will receive a 25% commission fee on any sales.

Artwork Delivery:
Artwork must be delivered directly to the gallery on Sunday, March 29, 2026 between noon and 1 pm unless other arrangements are made in advance. All work must be ready to hang.

Artwork Pickup:
Artwork must be picked up at the gallery on Saturday, May 9 2026, between 6 and 7 pm unless other arrangements are made in advance.

Required Application Materials:

Images Up to 3 artworks, JPEG 300 dpi with longest dimension between 1200 to 2000 pixels
File titles should follow the format “last-name-first-name-01.jpg” “last-name-first-name-02.jpg” “last-name-first-name-03.jpg”

Video Submissions (optional)
1. Link to a YouTube or Vimeo video of up to 3 minutes (alternately, juror will only view first 3 minutes)
2. One video still to be submitted as Image 1 of the submission form (JPEG format)
3. A description added to Image List PDF explaining how your video would be displayed to meet size and format requirements listed above

Resume (Up to 1 Page, PDF)

Artist Statement (Up to 300 words, PDF)

Image List (1 Page, PDF)
List of images including file names, artwork titles, media, size, price (or NFS), and any necessary display specifications including frame dimensions beyond artwork size-limit of 24x18”, any unique framing specifications, or video display specifications if applicable
