FORM+CONTENT GALLERY is a collective art gallery operated by twelve member-artists and located in the Minneapolis North Loop since 2007. The gallery’s six-week exhibitions include member-curated group and solo exhibitions as well as "Open Loop", the biennial open call exhibition of Minnesota artists selected by a guest juror. The gallery hosts public events such as opening receptions, artist’s talks, poetry readings, musical performances and discussions. The gallery is open Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 12pm to 6pm and is always free and open to the public.
The gallery’s twelve member-artists thrive on the freedom the gallery provides to reinvent what “gallery” can mean, artistically, conceptually, and as a force within the larger community. Each member has six weeks for a personal exhibition within a two-year rotation and as part of a commitment to community engagement, members curate two additional thematic community exhibitions each year.
