“Awkward Moments” is Beth Bergman’s second exhibit at Form+Content Gallery. It includes paintings made in 2024-2025. The works are acrylic on Thai Mulberry paper collaged to basswood panels. The abstract images explore new ideas of the color palette, the relationship of shapes and spaces, and traditional approaches to composition. One series of paintings explores ideas of cocooning, nesting, and solitude. Newer works explore “Awkward Moments” in color, composition and shapes.
