RITA PANTON
Rita completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 2008 from the University of Minnesota Ceramics Department. Her work involves whimsical drawings and large scale figures rendered in earthenware. Rita is a co-founder of Bottle Rocket Studios in Longfellow, Minneapolis where she currently maintains a studio space.
"In conjunction with Form+Content Gallery, I worked as a studio assistant to Harriet Bart. The experiences included working one-on-one with member artists with installation and de-installation (including the creation of site-specific pieces) in the gallery and in artist's studios, attending monthly collective meetings, research, and preparation of press kits. I aspire to one day create a gallery collective and apply my valuable experience at Form+Content as a model. I am grateful for the lasting relationships with artists that the internship encouraged.
