Jamie Sandhurst attended the College of Visual Arts in St. Paul, Minnesota receiving her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a printmaking concentration in 2009. She received four academic scholarships, several grants, and has shown in six group exhibitions to date. As a visual artist, Jamie has explored the reductive relief process, transferring her up-close photographs of plant-life into prints by elevating the abstraction and scale.
"During my time interning with Form+Content, I was privileged to work directly with members Lynda Monick-Isenberg and Jay Isenberg for the exhibition entitled, Dialogue on the Wall. While doing research, and finding images for the exhibition, I learned about the Israeli/Palestinian conflict and got a glimpse into an issue I knew very little about beforehand. I value both the learning that was involved, and the relationships I made, for I've never felt more like a part of the family."––Jamie Sandhurst
