ANNA MANSELL
Anna is a 2007 B.F.A graduate from the University of Minnesota. Her interest in Form+Content began when she realized she could have the opportunity to see an artist cooperative develop from the grounds up! Lucky to be a part of Form+Content in it’s last months of formation and up until the second gallery show, Anna had the chance to see how professional artists can make a difference in the community and for each other. The internship provided not only practical gallery operations but will continue to be a cornerstone of her own professional ambitions. In April Anna moved to Seattle WA to continue her career as a restaurant manager, but art has not been put on hold. She continues to paint regularly with a style that has been consistent throughout the last five years. Bold shapes and bright colors still fill her canvases, but Seattle has offered a new surrounding and perspective for her to work with. She currently is involved with local music and crafts, and is hoping to exhibit her work in the next year as a Seattle-style local artist.
